East Industries, Inc. Selected to Participate in Microsoft Office System Rapid Adoption Program

Rocky Mount, North Carolina, June 5, 2003 – East Industries, Inc., a reverse logistics pallet & packaging company located in Rocky Mount, NC has been selected by Microsoft Corporation as one of 20 small businesses nationwide to participate in the Microsoft Office System Rapid Adoption Program. East Industries Inc. was nominated for the study by its local technology partner, Harrison Technology Consulting.

Harrison Technology Consulting is a local Microsoft partner and has been providing technology consulting and integration services to East Industries, Inc. for many years.  “I nominated East Industries, Inc. and they were ultimately selected because they understand the value of investing in and implementing technology into their business planning and operations,” said Jason Harrison, president and lead technology consultant of Harrison Technology Consulting.  “Microsoft recognized East Industries Inc.’s creative use of Microsoft tools and technologies and decided to showcase some of what they have achieved,” added Harrison.
