We are excited to announce that we’re now part of the Apple Consultants Network! In our immediate area, we are the only Apple Consultants Network member east of the Research Triangle area in the eastern half of North Carolina. For many years we’ve been working with both Microsoft Windows based PCs and Apple Mac OS X based computing platforms. In more recent years, we’ve found ourselves gravitating towards recommending, implementing, and supporting the Apple Mac platform for a wide range of reasons including product quality, system reliability, improved security, and we get to spend less time supporting the platform and more time helping our clients better leverage their technology investments.
Being part of the Apple Consultants Network strengthens our commitment to the platform and helps provide us with an improved connection to all sorts of training and other product information and materials that we would not have otherwise. It demonstrates our commitment to providing an even higher level of knowledge and technical expertise across all of Apple’s technology solutions whether they be desktop, server, or mobile devices.
Our owner and lead technology consultant, Jason Harrison, had to commit to twenty-two plus hours of technical training and take a two hour technical exam to become an Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP). He said completing the training and taking the exam was time consuming, but relatively easy considering the many years of expertise he had developed working with Apple solutions in the real world.
We plan to even further our commitment through Jason expanding upon his certification level this January by completing the training and certification exam to become a Certified Apple Technical Coordinator, which is one of Apple’s highest levels of certification.
We are still committed to supporting other solutions and technologies as this adds to our commitments to Microsoft platforms in which we’ve worked with for well over twenty-five years now. Jason has held past Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer credentials on various Microsoft Windows platforms and we were one of the very first Microsoft Small Business Specialists in the United States.
